Moto C And Moto C Plus Specification, Features And Image Leak

In the flurry of leaks, now it’s Lenovo’s turn to tell the tale of Moto C and Moto C Plus. It is said that, with this offering the company is targeting first time smart-phone buyers, and the smart-phones are considered to be the brand’s most reasonable handsets till date.

According to a report by Venture Beat’s Evan Blass, the two smart-phones will have a 5 inch display, and they will be launched with Android 7.0 Nougat OS; like the Moto G5 and G5 Plus smart-phones. 

Although, both the smart-phones shares the same size display but their screen resolution is dissimilar.  The Moto C Plus is expected to have an HD screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, while Moto C supposedly will get an FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution.

Further, the report unveils that Lenovo’s Moto C and Moto C Plus will be launched in 3G and 4G variants, with a specific configuration. However, you’ll get 4G LTE in Moto C Plus models only.

The processor Quad-Core MediaTek is said to be used in both the upcoming Moto smart-phones. But there are variation in specs for Moto C and Moto C Plus.  A 32 bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz will be used in Moto C 3G variant, and the Moto C Plus will reportedly get a 64 bit processor with the same clocking speed. Further, it has been suggested that the 4G variant of Moto C will have a 64 bit processor, which will clock the speed of 1.1GHz.



The two Moto C models (3G and 4G) are expected to have 1GB of RAM memory, while the RAM memory of the Moto C Plus will range from 1GB to 2GB.

On the storage front, the Moto C is expected to have either 8GB or 16GB build-in storage depending on aspects like region and cellular modem. But the Moto C Plus has been tipped to come with 16GB on board storage, as per the report. However, all models of both smart-phones are tipped to be launched with an expandable storage via microSD card, but the expandable limit is unavailable at the moment.

The Moto C Plus will be powered by battery around 4000 mAh, however the Moto C smart-phone has been tipped to have a 2350 mAh battery.

Coming to lenses, Moto C will sport a 5 megapixel rear camera coupled with flash (fixed-focus on 3G, auto-focus with the 4G) and its selfie shooter will have a 2 megapixel lens with flash.  The Moto C Plus shares the same selfie-shooter camera configuration; however the resolution of the core image sensor on the phone has been elevated up to 8 megapixel.

Both the smart-phone variants are expected to come in four different colors, they range from Black, White, Gold and Red.
