The fervent preparation of OnePlus indicates that its next-generation— OnePlus 6 will be unveiled in the second quarter of 2018.

And yet another leak, which has emerged online, keeping the momentum up, that, may benefit the OnePlus 6 in the long run. The fresh leaks hit the bulls-eye; and revealed the price and key specifications of the smartphone.

As per the leaked information, the OnePlus 6 will pierce into the premium flagships status as per its pricing strategy. And if leaks aptly see the daylight in Q2 of this year, then OnePlus 6 will become the company’s most expensive smartphone to date.

Other than this, the OnePlus 6 would also get a new 256GB onboard storage variant. Further, the leak unfolds a dual camera setup with 16 megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors at the rear.

OnePlus 6 Price And Specifications

A report of CNMO refers to a leaked screenshot to say that the OnePlus 6 will come with a price tag of $749 (approximately INR 48,800). But, when you look closely at the image, it shows the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and iPhone X rates as $1,200 and $1,517 respectively; though the prices shown are higher than what the models cost in the US market. Although, the mentioned rate on the image match up to the Canadian prices of the two smartphones, hence the suggested price $749 could be for the Canada market.

So if we translate Canadian $749 to USD, it makes US $575 (and INR 38,000 plus taxes and duties). This price is higher than the current OnePlus 5T 8GB RAM Variant, which is USD559 (INR 37,999).

Taking about the OnePlus 6 Specifications, the leaked image demonstrates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB default storage. It further shows that the OnePlus 6 will have a Dash Charge Support, a 3D glass back design, and a 6.2-inch display. The price $749 mentioned in the image is for the phone’s 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant.

Elaborating the design, the leaks hints an iPhone X like notch on the front coupled with a bigger 19:9 aspect ratio display. Also, the smartphone is expected to receive a vertical dual back camera and a big fingerprint sensor below that.

A pre-loaded Android 8.1 Oreo is expected to run on the OnePlus 6, which can be further updated to Android P sometime later this year or in early 2019.
