Xiaomi Mi 6X Specifications Leaked, Snapdragon 626 SoC and 18:9 Display Tipped

Xiaomi Mi 6X is anticipated to come to India as the Xiaomi MI A2. It has now surfaced online that the phone will bear a Snapdragon 626 SoC.  The fresh progress came out just days after the smartphone was spotted in a TENNA listing which unveiled its main specifications.  As previously mentioned, the smartphone is expected to be the successor to the Mi A1 which saw the daylight previous year with Google’s Andriod One Branding.

A few initial leaked pictures indicated the existence of an 18:9 display panel coupled with a dual rear camera setup.

Xiaomi Mi 6X Specifications Leaked

As per the latest revelation of the Xiaomi Mi 6X alias Mi A2 suggests that the Chinese smartphone company has favored a 2.2GHx octa-core Snapdragon 626 Soc, as per the reports by Indian blog BestUnderR.  The new chosen processor is certainly the next upgrade to the previous version of the Snapdragon 625. It is the same processor which powered the Mi A1 last year.  But, it is notable that the new choice isn’t as popular as the Snapdragon 625 which was widely available on a huge scale of mid-range handsets in 2017.

Other than the new Snapdragon SoC,  Xiaomi Mi 6X will allegedly get a 5.99-inch full-HD+  (1080 x 2160 pixels) IPS display, RAM is worth 4GB coupled with 64GB of inbuilt storage. The images from the Indian leak also gave an account of the dual rear camera setup:  a 20-megapixel primary image sensor with a f/2.0 aperture on top; 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture.  Whereas, the front camera is rumored to have a 20-megapixel image sensor coupled with f/2.0 aperture on top.  It also seems that it would have a 2910mAh battery, the phone will weigh 165 grams and would be 7.3mm thick.  All these information is in order with what appeared on TENNA recently.

The TENNA images of the Mi 6X suggests that the smartphone will have a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Also, it is worth mentioning that dissimilar to many of the contemporary mid-range phone options, the Mi 6X is unlikely to come with a notch design.
