[Report] Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge Will Get Android Oreo Update Soon

In a few days time, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to receive the  Android Oreo upgrade, according to the reports. All USA vendors of the 2016 Samsung flagship handsets, which includes the renowned brands like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon, also the unlocked variants have supposedly started to get the Android Oreo certification from the Wi-Fi- Alliance.




Everything started to take shape after SamMobile shared that the carrier operating in North America generally have to submit devices for certification earlier than a new major upgrade is rolled out.  This report made it certain that the Android Oreo update to the duo flagship; Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge is just around the corner.

Further, the report went to hint that Samsung Turkey had before disclosed that an Android Ore OTA  update was in the examination phase for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy  S7 Edge,  with an unconfirmed launched expected on April 13.

Since that date has elapsed, these new developments restate a rollout in the coming days, at least in the US, if not worldwide.  As usual, the upgrade rollouts would be gradual in nature, and all users will not get it in one go. It will be released in parts and India will certainly be among the markets to receive Android Oreo on the Galaxy S7 series
.
In the recent time, the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note8 have started getting the Android Oreo-based Samsung Experience OTA update for worldwide users.
