Redmi 7A Unveiled With 13MP Camera, Sanpdragon 439, 4000mAh Battery, Expected to be announced with Redmi K20
Xiaomi is all set to debut its Offshoot Redmi flagship smartphone, the Redmi K20, in China in the coming week. The phone comes with a notch-less display, Snapdragon 855, a pop-up selfie camera along with triple rear camera, and the back-finish is 3D; which provides the phone an attractive look.
The Redmi K20 launch is also accompanied with the successor
to the entry-level Redmi 6A. However,
the caution that the flagship killer may take away all the charm, the company
already soft-launched the Redmi 7A without the price, which the company will announce
at the event stalled for next week.
Equipped with an Octa-core Qualcomm Sanpdragon 439 Soc, the
Redmi 7A has enhance its performance by 26 percent; in-comparision to the
MediaTek Helio A22 (processor) on the Redmi 6A. With a 5.45-inch HD+ display
the company claims that the phone will have a better response and improved blue-light
filtering over the 6A.
The released images of the smartphone indicate that the
Redmi 7A is made out of polycarbonate, however the design is sleeker than the Redmi 6A. To repel water or oil-based liquids the back panels also
come with a P2i at the back panel, and also the smartphone is
splash-resistance.
On the photography front, the Redmi 7A apparently remain the
same. The back camera has a 13-megapixel sensor with a single LED flash and
supported by AI algorithm for better imagery output. Though, the front camera
resolution is yet to be revealed, the company has confirmed that it will have
an AI beauty enhancement coupled with the background bokeh effect, which is
further supported by the AI face unlocking.
The Redmi 7A power needs are taken care by 4,000mAh battery, the upgrade is 33 percent than the Redmi 6A, Xiaomi will also be upgrading the
in-box charger to 10W from the old 5W brick that came with the previous
handset.
Further, Xiaomi is offering blue and black shades for the
back panel for Redmi 7A.
The company is yet to
confirm the different storage and RAM variants, however, we can expect the standard
options in the series, which is, 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB. But Xiaomi has reveal
that the smartphone will feature a non-hybrid SIM tray with support of memory
extension via SDcards up to 256GB.
For the price, Xiaomi has kept under wraps for the Redmi K20
