Xiaomi planning to bring Samsung's 64-megapixel sensor onboard with its smartphones in pipeline.

Samsung presented its 64-megapixel camera sensor a month ago, and the company is anticipated to enter the market in the 3rd quarter of 2019.

As per a leak by famous tipster Ice Universe on Weibo, Samsung will do the worldwide curtain raiser of the 64-megapixel camera sensor through an undercover Galaxy A  series smartphone and a forthcoming Redmi smartphone will be presenting it in China.

The 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor would shoot 16-megapixel pictures in low-light situations through Samsung's Tetracell technology.

The sensor would also support up to 100db real-time HDR. Moreover, smartphones with this tech will enable users to catch 1080p slow motion video recordings just as Super PD PDAF tech.

The report doesn't uncover any further insights concerning the Redmi 64-megapixel camera smartphone. Yet, it is uncertain which Redmi device will house 64-megapixel camera.
