Redmi exec hints new devices will arrive in April

Last week, Xiaomi released various devices, including the Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi Smart Band 6, and Mi Mix Fold. Even though Redmi revealed this late last March, the firm’s Product Director Wang Teng Thomas informed one commenter that a new device will be launching in April.

An internet user had commented on Redmi that there would not be fresh releases in April, and Redmi's director replied with a question referring to the fact that a new device would be unveiled in April.

Current rumors indicate Redmi’s upcoming smartphone will feature the Density 1200 chipset, which is stated to perform as well as the Snapdragon 870. Recent reports indicate Redmi’s next smartphone, dubbed Ares, will have a shoulder trigger.

It is anticipated to use Samsung’s latest E4 panel and features a flat OLED display with a punch-hole selfie camera. The handset be priced in the CNY 2000-2,500 ($300-380) range, becoming one of the most inexpensive gaming smartphones to hit the market. PlayfulDroid explains that there’s a possibility that the Redmi phone will be rebranded as a POCO F series smartphone, perhaps even marketed as a POCO F series smartphone.
